This is my last full day all alone with savanna. Just me and her. :(
Of course I will still enjoy the next 4 days off with her, but today is the last day that is just her and I all day.
This makes me sad. So today I will just lay around and hold her, kiss her, play with her and make her smile. Nap with her, smell her head, and snuggle her.
Right now she is passed out on my lap as i type!
Its very hard to carry something for nine months, spend 10 weeks adoring her, and then having to leave her. I really dont know how people are ever excited about leaveing there children to return to work. It makes my stomach turn thinking about it. I know she will be takin care of exactly as i care for her, as she will be with sarah and she will be loved and adored all day but its still hard. I know it will get easier, and that i need to go back to work for my family, but i dont have to be happy about it.
I am happy about the money, and the interaction with people, I really do like my job. But i like my baby more!

Since Brynn has 2 houses, naturally santa comes for her 2 times, its pretty neat how that works for her! He comes to our house on christmas eve morning, and then to her moms on christmas morning! (this kid has like 7 x-mas celebrations!)

we had our annual christmas eve -eve (dec 23rd) at sarahs this year, it was great! (except that steven missed most of it because his boss was being a douch bag and made him work till like 8 but thats another story)
We had great food and family and fun times and that is all that matters!
All the "big" kids wanted to hold the baby, so they took turns
Ellies turn, only she wants her turn to be all the time, cause she is seriously in love with savanna, it is soo cute! I hope that she always loves her this much, I see them being close like jonny and brynn are, just because ellie is so inthralled with her. i also hope she loves her new little sibling this much too!
(also i love this, because it mean that ellie pays attention to me and is no longer stand offish to me! cause i now always have a savanna with me! Im golden!) :)
then it was the big sisters turn! She is such a great big sister!
And of course jonny! He also loves savanna! he likes to touch her on the side of her head! lol!
her littlest pet shop planner...like a PDA but for kids, Im still not sure why a 5 year old needs a planner, but hey it made her so happy! it has a little dog that lives in side it and she has to feed it and stuff!

So I have been trying to play with my camera more and figure out all the cool stuff it can do.
i finally figured out how to get to black and white after almost a year!
so today savanna got to have a little photo shoot!
chomper is a camera whore, when ever i take pics he wants to be in them!
her beautiful profile, and her tounge....
I figured since she fit in the stocking, i might as well put her in there!

Today Savanna and I went to have lunch with my mom, they were having a goodbye party for the store director who was retiring. (he used to be steven and I's boss back ing the raleys days!)

savanna farts smell really bad! im not sure why but for the last 4 days this beautiful baby girl has been farting (and stinking) like a man. she even made my brother gag yesterday! my poor stinky baby!

WOW I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE A MONTH AGO I WAS GIVING BIRTH, SEEMS LIKE TIME HAS FLOWN BY. AND IM A LITTLE SAD THAT IS SHE IS ALREADY A MONTH OLD. :(
MEANS MY MATERNITY LEAVE IS ALMOST OVER AND ILL BE LEAVING HER TO GO BACK TO WORK. (OK I JUST MADE MY SELF CRY)
WE ARE NOW OFFICIALLY OUT OF NEWBORN DIAPERS AND INTO SIZE 1. WHICH MEANS SHE IS GROWING WELL, AND WERE PROBABLY ONLY A FEW DAYS A WAY FROM OUTGROWING HER NEWBORN JAMMIES. SHE IS GETTING TOO LONG FOR THEM. NEWBORN CLOTHES ARE STILL GOOD, ITS JUST THE JAMMIES.
SHE IS ABSOLUTLY IN LOVE WITH HER VIBRATING RAINFOREST CHAIR, (WE MAY HAVE TO INVEST IN A SECOND ONE FOR SARAHS HOUSE!) SHE WILL HANG OUT IN IT FOR QUITE A WHILE, AND USUALLY FALLS ASLEEP. AND ACTUALLY WE HAVE FOUND THAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN SHE IS WAKING UP AND JUST WANTING TO BE AWAKE IF WE PUT HER IN THERE NEXT TO OUR BED SHE IS VERY CONTENT AND FALLS BACK TO SLEEP ON HER OWN!! VERY NICE FOR ME! I GET A FEW EXTRA HOURS OF SLEEP IN!
AND.....TODAY I WEIGHT 186.4!!!! IM SO EXCITED, I HAVENT SEEN THESE NUMBERS IN YEARS AND THAT MAKES ME REALLY PROUD. IM FEELING GREAT! AND ACTUALLY EVEN MY PRE PREGNANCY CLOTHES ARE STARTING TO BE TOO BIG! SO....33.6LBS SINCE GIVING BIRTH....24.6LBS LESS THAN MY PRE-PREGGO SELF! AND ONLY 6LBS FROM MY FIRST MINI GOAL OF 180 BY THE TIME I START WORK (JAN 5TH)

Her 1st REAL bath

Well since her belly button is all healed, and starting to become an innie!! It was time for a real bath! Well that and she threw up all over herself today, and it got in her hair and in her little neck creases and was pretty stinky!
She LOVED it! And she was soo good about it! She was just making her little mouse noises while I washed her. She loved when i poured the water over her belly it was cute!

2 week checkup!

Whoa!! 2 weeks already! I cant believe how time flies!
The past 2 weeks have been great, Im very tired and have done nothing except take care of Savanna Banana!! But today I got a lot done!!
we had Savanna's 2 week check up at the DR, I took savanna to my work to show her off! Ran a few errands and got my final batch of thank you cards ready to mail out!! phew!! oh and Vicki I found out some status on your order from brynns school, sorry it took me so long, Ill email you the details!!
Her dr appt went great! It was her first one with her pedi, who I think I really like.
She said that Savanna is a perfect baby!! very healthy, she has gained 1lb 30z since she was born which is great, she is now also 20in long! So I guess the fact that she has been eating non stop for the past 3 days was a good thing!

Pregnancy weight loss

So here goes....
When I got pregnant i weighed 211 at my first prenatal appointment.
The morning my water broke, I weighed 220.
Today i weigh ....... 195!!!
25 lbs.. Obviously I know most of that was baby, and all the goodies that came out! But that is still 16lbs less than when I got pregnant!!
but, I havnt been under 200 since we moved home from sacramento. It feels sooo good to be in ONEderland!! lol!! Ive been trying to eat really well, (esp since im breatfeeding) And plan on keeping this weight loss going!
I would like to loose another 15lbs by the time i go back to work, Which is looking like it will be around the 1st of the year! I think I can do it.

Well since her belly button isnt completly healed yet she cant have a real bath, so we give her little sponge baths.
Here are some pics from her first, I really dont think she liked it....when i was drying her off and holding her wrapped in her towel she peed on me!

On Monday morning Steven and I took Savanna out to my Grandma Jeans house. Savanna gets her middle name from her.
We had a wonderful visit, we dont get to see grandmoo and grandpoo quite as often as we would like.
After this we headed to Savanna's 3 day Checkup, where they told us that our baby was perfect....well duh! lol!! :) We go back on the 10th for her 2 week check up!
Then once we got home, We had a wonderful visit from Savanna's other Great Grandparents! (as well as Umma, Sarah and Jonny and Ellie)

I can not even begin to describe how amazingly perfect she is. Wow.
She is tiny, but she has a huge presence. She is just captivating.
Im going to write her birth story, with her timeline...its a long time line as my water broke at 7:52 am and she was born at 1:26 am! But in the mean time I wanted to share with you all some great photos of this beautiful baby of ours.
